Review of Leonidas Pates de Fruits - Candied Fruit Jellies

These are magnificent pate de fruites candies using real fruit and it shows. Texture and flavor are top notch. They make every other jellied candy appear horribly off in comparison.

My assortment was 50% fig candy, 25% pineapple with one each of strawberry, cherry, pear, apple and tangerine. We were very disappointed as fig is not a big hit in our home. The candy itself is wonderful but be prepared for some unexpected ratios in flavors.

Sugary, chewy and colorful, these mixed candies in the shape of whimsical fruits like green apples, pears, strawberries, pineapples and tangerines are made with real fruit juice into the traditional French confectionary "fruit pate" or "fruit paste".
