Review of Roland Salsifis From Belgium, 14.11-Ounce Cans (Pack of 6)

Salsify is the taproot of a weed (kindof like a carrot or dandelion) called Goatsbeard. They're okay to eat plain. But I use them as an easy, lightly flavorful addition to just about any crock pot recipe, or mashed potatoes - I like saute'ed leeks and turnips in them too. People describe them as having a faint oyster flavor - I wouldn't call it that except for having heard them described that way. Given this, I want to try them in a Thanksgiving stuffing.

Note:the Roland can is well-made - lined, as I think you'd need for this product.
