Review of Gyokuro Tea, 5oz.

The Adagio tea seems expensive till you try it.Suddenly, every other tea you've tried - whether it's bags from Whole Foods/Giant/Safeway or "Designer teas" from expensive shops - seems harsh and loud by comparison. This tea is subtle and soft yet unmistakably a high quality Japanese green tea.Very mild and light aroma, a refined and smooth taste and no aftertaste unless you steep it too long.It makes you want to reach for another cup immediately.Easy enough to do since it can be steeped more than once, though I find that if you wait too long for the second steeping it has lost some of its body.

Overall, I thought it was excellent and will be ordering more shortly.

Product Description
Green tea from Japan famed for its unique shading process. Gyokuro, meaning pearl dew, is among the finest of Japanese teas. Our "Moonlight Gyokuro" is made solely from the prized tender buds gathered in the early spring flush. Three weeks prior to plucking, tea bushes are shaded from the sun. The fruits of this hard work are evident in each cup. The result is a gentle tea with an intoxicating fragrance and truly sublime taste.
