Review of Wild Boar Bacon (8 ounce) by igourmet.com

I've eaten a lot of bacon in my life, and so far this is the best bacon I've ever had.The first time I tried it was Christmas morning last year - we fried up a batch of this, along with a batch of normal store-bought bacon (and some beef bacon, but we won't talk about that...).Anyways, the store-bought bacon - which I normally consider to be a breakfast treat - tasted like cardboard in my mouth compared to the wild boar bacon. This stuff is the real deal. You won't be disappointed.

Product Description
The wild boar has been hunted for food, for sport or to protect crops against their ravages since the days of the cave men. In the Middle Ages boar hunting with spears and dogs was a royal sport and the serving of a boar's head at the Christmas feast in Merry England was a holdover of a much older pagan rite at the time of the winter solstice. This specialty bacon is simply sumptuous, witha rich flavor and a heady aroma.Perfect for an exotic Sunday brunch with leek scrambled eggs and brioche toast.
