Review of First Grade Lapsong Souchong Black Tea - Organic

A fine brand form the source ... it's rather delicate, but very addictive especially after a perfect Chinese meal.

[Now remember this is a very specific smoky tea - smoked whole leaf over smoundering pine needles].

For perversion - add honey and milk .... but then it becomes an after dinner treat.

Beautifully packaged, presented .....

Product Description
Lapsang Souchong has been a long-time favorite Black tea. This tea is treasured for its unique smoky flavor and aroma, which is achieved through drying the tea leaves over pine log fires. This particular tea has a light smokey flavor, not tarry like some lapsang. This tea is also known as Zheng Shan Souchong. Zheng Shan means "Original Mountain" and only tea leaves picked from Wuyi harvest area can be called Zheng Shan. These tea leaves have a special characteristic which includes a subtle hint of longan, a sweet Chinese fruit.
