Review of Chinese Hot Sour Soup Cooking Kit with Chinese Bowls & Spoons

This is an awesome kit. I thought the price was a little high until I got the kit. I love this soup so I risked the price and it is well worth it.

I have already made 2 batches and have plenty of stuff to make it at least a couple or few more times.

The Bowls are very nice a hard plastic and a nice big hearty size. I really like the design they look like they are from a chinese resteraunt.

I like the recipe being laminated it makes it very easy to use and keep clean.

As for the soup it is delicious it taste like a resteraunt. You get all the stuff but cornstarch and meat and chicken stock. But you probably already have all that stuff.

The soup is easy to make and come out great, the recipe add a little more rice vinegar than I like but no bid deal I put less in the second time and it tasted just like my local resteraunts soup. I eat this soup at every chinese resteraunt I go to and this is better than 75% of the resteraunts i've tried.

I highly recommend this kit, it is really great.

Review of Cairo Turkish Style Coffee .5lb Bag

I do not drink Turkish coffee. I find it too concentrated and bitter. But I LOVE Natasha's Cairo and Beber Turkish style coffee. Why? Because you don't have to use it to make Turkish coffee! You can put it in a regular coffeemaker and it will brew regular American coffee. Use just slightly less than you would of regular ground coffee to compensate for the finer ground.

But why would you want to do that? I'll tell. Because Natasha's Cairo and Berber taste SO MUCH BETTER than American coffee you will be amazed. Why? Two words cardamom (Cairo) and coriander (Berber). Both these spices suck the bitterness straight out of the coffee and leave it tasting delicious without even the slightest hint of sweetness, and de minimus calories.

Try it just once. You will be amazed. But be forewarned. You will alsofeel cheated and wonder "why oh why have I been drinking this American swill that I can only choke down with a cup of milk and a tablespoon of sugar all my life". That's right. Black coffee doesn't have to taste bad. Try Natasha's Cairo or Berber brands and you'll find out why.

BTW, Don't order the other brands because without cardamom or coriander Turkish coffee is even more bitter than American. And don't order the Najar, even with cardamom. Its not the same qualify as Natasha's own blends, maybe Natasha's grinds theirs in Kentucky, not in Beirut.

I purchased this as a Christmas present for my Dad...who is always the difficult one to buy for Christmas. To my delight, BOTH my parents went on and on about how great this basket was. They said the product was both tasty and high quality. I did purchase direct from their website however once I read some reviews about how the shipping was quicker if you went through the website. So, to be sure it made it in time for Christmas, I did just that. Otherwise, I would have purchased through here. It arrived just in time on Christmas Eve. Perfect! I also purchased another basket for a dear friend. She was very pleased as well. The customer service was very friendly and helpful as I called to be sure my friend would receive hers by Christmas. If you love cheese, and in particular cheddar, you know that the aging process is the make or break moment. It's in the aging that you separate the pretenders from the superb. Extremely high quality product.If your baking bread either the traditional way or in a breadmaker,like I do, I highly recommend this product.The difference between the Baker's dry milk and store bought dry milk immediatley noticed in the texture of the bread.I also think it improves the taste of the bread.I bake anywhere from 80 to 100 loaves a year(I bake alot for friends).This product will not destroy the gluten structure in bread.Regular dry milk and milk itself will.Try it and I really think you'll notice the difference.
