Review of Happy Birthday Grim Reaper

I ordered this balloon for my Great-aunt's 100th birthday and sent it to her Queens brownstone where she has lived all her life.Most of her friends and family, including extended family, came for the event, and dozens of people, including relatives who had not seen each other in years, crowded into her tidy home.I, being her favorite grandnephew, was also there.I wanted the balloon to be a surprise, so I told no one about it, and everyone wondered who sent the white box that seemed so large for its light weight.

After we had dinner and cake, we all gathered into the living room for the opening of presents.My Great-aunt sat in her chair and we brought her all our gifts.She carefully opened each one, neatly folding the wrapping paper into a pile, expressed genuine delight and gratitude, and then hugged the giver or givers, if they were present.Because of the number of gifts and her manner of opening them, nearly an hour passed before she got to the mysterious white box.She asked who could have sent it, but I remained silent.When no one could answer her, she began to open the box, exclaiming that there was probably a card inside.My Great-aunt lifted the top of the box and the balloon shot out right in front of her face.She gave a little start and fainted.We all thought she was playing a joke, but when several minutes passed and she didn't move, we began to worry.One of my cousins, a physician, checked her breathing and pulse, but didn't find any signs of life.He immediately started CPR and someone called an ambulance.Everyone agreed that the balloon was a sick joke to pull on a woman so advanced in years, even if she was in perfect health.I wholeheartedly agreed.

My Great-aunt pulled through, and I never told anyone who sent the balloon.One of my cousins, a lawyer, wanted to track down the sender and file suit and even possible charges, but my Great-aunt convinced him that it was most likely meant as a harmless joke.I wholeheartedly agreed.
