Review of Les Confitures a l'Ancienne Powdered Chocolate (1 lb.)

I've never been a coffee drinker, which leaves me hunting for alternatives. Over time, I developed my favorite cocoa that I would make myself at home. I like mine much less sweet than most mixes, and all other mixes seemed watery and flat--not good enough!

Les Confitures, on the other hand, has a strong cocoa flavor and isn't overpoweringly sweet. The raw cane sugar is a suprisingly good addition, adding just a touch of extra flavor. The mix also contains vanilla for richness and depth of flavor.

It's lovely to be able to use a mix instead of hauling out the cocoa and gambling on getting it to dissolve, and on getting the sugar-balance right.

I've recommended this to all my friends.

Product Description

This amazing drinking hot cocoa with raw cane sugar won the NASFT Outstanding Beverage Award in 2002! It's no wonder since only the finest cocoa beans have been selected to produce this traditional powdered chocolate.

Powerfully flavorful, the richness of l'Ancienne Powdered Chocolate's body yields undertones of fruitiness, which blend with natural vanilla for a subtle and smooth finish. The careful roasting of the beans selected from renowned provenances brings out the excellence of the natural aroma of the cocoa beans ripened in the tropics.

Try chilling this powdered chocolate in a bowl in your refrigerator until cool. Then freeze in an ice cube tray. Slush cubes in a blender for a refreshing iced chocolate drink!

Each container yields approximately 25 servings (1.1 lbs.) of Les Confitures a l'Ancienne Powdered Chocolate imported from France.
