Review of Peach Tea, 4oz.

This is a personal favorite of mine, and the rest of my family's.We gladly reorder the large canister at least once a month.

This makes a great iced tea, other than a few mint blends, my favorite to ice.

Adagio, as always, brings a quality product at reasonable prices.Always fresh and flavorful!

Review of Red Bloom "Display tea"

The tea has a great taste and some health benefits, but it is not all that you get from it. It can be a nice entertaiment itself to you and your guests.

Product Description
Black tea from the Hunan region of China. The name refers to this tea's inner attribute. If it doesn't look to be blooming now, wait till you add water. Then each cluster magically unfolds, revealing a flower hidden within, and infusing a cup with its robust scent and flavor. It is among the rare group of display teas, meant to delight your eyes as well as taste buds. Makes a very fitting finish to a special meal.

Review of Almond Tea, 4oz.

This is a good almond tea.I'd describe the flavor as a dry almond. It's a light flavor (though definitely present), and I'd describe its presence as subtle. This is not a very nutty flavor- choose Adagio's Chestnut if you're looking for that.Rather, this is a subtle almond tea.The flavor is not especially sweet, so it's good for both morning and evening consumption.I'd probably have preferred a little more nuttiness, but I enjoyed this tea all the same.

Review of Golden Monkey Tea, 4oz.

I was a little leery at first, purchasing from an on-line store but for this price I decided to give it a shot.

It comes in its own tin so you don't have to purchase a separate one (Nice touch).

The taste is smooth and flavorful.
I left it steeping a bit longer than my usual 2 ½ minutes to see if it would bitter and I was pleasantly surprised to find it had not.

It is a definite competitor to Teavana's product that sells for 3 times as much per ounce.

Product Description
Black tea from the Fujian province of China. Golden Monkey tea is hand-processed each spring with a careful plucking of only one leaf and one bud. It is among the finest Chinese black teas available today. The name comes from its unique appearance: the leaves resemble monkey claws. If you enjoy full-bodied teas with an abundance of flavor, we urge you to give this tea a try.

Review of Chocolate Tea, 4oz.

I've only recently begun to branch out in my tea selections from fruity teas to dessert teas.I don't like sweeteners in my tea, and I was afraid that teas that were meant to taste like desserts would have to taste as if they were sweetened.Thankfully I was wrong!I've now tried several of Adagio's dessert teas and they are wonderful- chocolate is one of the best. The flavor of this tea is strong, and it tastes unmistakably of chocolate. But thankfully, somehow, it does not taste as thought it is has been sweetened with sugar. It's amazing- I have no idea how Adagio manages it, but the taste is smooth, rich, creamy chocolate, just not sugary. This works beautifully as an after-dinner tea, and it fulfills my need for dessert after dinner (well, most of the time).I think it is excellent with a splash of milk.I didn't really know what to expect from this tea flavor-wise, but I am very, very pleased. This is a high quality loose tea.It always brews a nice cup for me. I'll certainly be buying more.

Review of Gourmet Earl Grey Tea, 4oz.

This is the best Earl Grey I've ever had--so incredibly bergamoty! It smells amazing, whether dry or steeped. Lovely stuff.

Product Description
Black tea from China, flavored with oil of bergamot, a citrus fruit. According to legend, this tea is named for Earl Grey, a British Prime Minister, to whom a Chinese noble entrusted its secret recipe for saving his life. Unfortunately, this story is not true. But we hope this wont prevent you from enjoying our exquisite Bravo version of the popular Earl Grey tea.

Review of Jasmine Bloom "Display tea"

Adagio has outdone themselves with this creation.Jasmine Bloom Display Tea starts out as a tight ball of leaves, the size of a quarter.Add some hot water, and the ball unfurls it's leaves of Jasmine green tea revealing a strand of delicate white flowers arching over the green tea starburst. The aroma is a delicate, perfumed scent of Jasmine blossoms, the color is a pale green, and the taste is light and mellow. The hand-tied tea blooms are nicer to look at than taste, however, I recommend trying this tea just for the fun of it.

Product Description
Perfumed green tea from the Fujian region of China. The name refers to this tea's inner attribute. If it doesn't look to be blooming now, wait till you add water. Then each cluster magically unfolds, revealing delicate flowers and a solitary white flower hidden within, while infusing a cup with its uniquely sweet scent and flavor. It is among the rare group of display teas, meant to delight your eyes as well as taste buds. Makes a perfect complement to your favorite dessert.

Review of Rooibos Caramel, 4oz.

It's pretty remarkable that I'm writing a review for rooibos, because it's not a product that I go out of my way to buy or to drink. But I received a sample of this in one of my Adagio orders, and I liked it.I liked it enough to buy it.This rooibos has a strong, true caramel flavor, which I loved. This is the product that showed me I liked Caramel flavored teas.Overall, this is a good beverage for the evenings, as it is caffeine free, and those who are fond of rooibos shous definitely give it a try.

Review of Gyokuro Tea, 5oz.

The Adagio tea seems expensive till you try it.Suddenly, every other tea you've tried - whether it's bags from Whole Foods/Giant/Safeway or "Designer teas" from expensive shops - seems harsh and loud by comparison. This tea is subtle and soft yet unmistakably a high quality Japanese green tea.Very mild and light aroma, a refined and smooth taste and no aftertaste unless you steep it too long.It makes you want to reach for another cup immediately.Easy enough to do since it can be steeped more than once, though I find that if you wait too long for the second steeping it has lost some of its body.

Overall, I thought it was excellent and will be ordering more shortly.

Product Description
Green tea from Japan famed for its unique shading process. Gyokuro, meaning pearl dew, is among the finest of Japanese teas. Our "Moonlight Gyokuro" is made solely from the prized tender buds gathered in the early spring flush. Three weeks prior to plucking, tea bushes are shaded from the sun. The fruits of this hard work are evident in each cup. The result is a gentle tea with an intoxicating fragrance and truly sublime taste.

Review of Raspberry Patch, 4oz

This is an herbal loose leaf tea that is very flavorful in a delicate, naturally sweet way.I have used it through a strainer in a mug, and laying loosely in a Zarafina tea maker.I have also tucked it into a "T-sac" tea filter, and loose in infuser-balls and steeped it that way.The brewed tea has a medium rose color.I find that a teaspoon of "Raspberry Patch" per cup is plenty.

The white cubes in the picture are little apple pieces, ok to nibble after the tea brews.

I have served this to guests and they, both men and women, love it too.But I'm sure not saving it just for them!

Review of Coconut Tea, 4oz.

This is an excellent coconut tea. While coconut flavors can often be too sweet or too fake, that's not the case with this tea.It brews up a nice, dry coconut, in which you can taste both the tea and the coconut flavor. It's not too sweet to drink in the morning, and I frequently drink it as a morning tea.For those who like flavored teas, this is a don't-miss.

Review of Silver Needle Tea, 2oz.

I can't put into words how delicious this tea is.If there is a perfect tea taste, it would have to be silver needle.

It is very pricey, but after trying it in the white sampler from adagio, I decided it was well worth to keep around.Mixes great with all kinds of herbals, and makes great night-time blends.

This is a great purchase for any tea lover!
