Review of Bigelow's Plantation Mint

R.C. Bigelow, Inc. was begun in 1945 by Ruth Campbell Bigelow, a tea connoisseur who wanted to offer even more taste opportunities to American tea drinkers. Among the teas that Bigelow presents is Plantation Mint - a wonderfully flavorful combination of mountain-grown black tea and natural spearmint.

Overall, I found this to be a wonderful tea. The combination of black tea and spearmint gives it a smooth and yet refreshing taste. I enjoyed it hot, and (unlike some teas) when I made it iced I found it to be just as good. So, if you want a refreshing and flavorful black tea blend, that tastes good hot or iced, then Bigelow's Plantation Mint is the tea to buy! (By the way, check out the interesting recipes on Bigelow's website!)

Product Description
You will find Plantation Mint® a delightful flavor surprise. We use only the finest mountain-grown tea blended with natural spearmint. 28 bags in a box.

Review of Bigelow's Constant Comment

I grew up in a family of tea drinkers; and although I now tend to have a lot of coffee while I'm at work, I still drink almost exclusively tea when I'm at home. I generally prefer loose leaf teas - that way I know I'll get "the real thing," whereas tea bags tend to contain merely the leftovers of a harvest; little crumbs too poor in aromatic and other content to otherwise pass quality control standards.

The exception are Bigelow teas: and first and foremost among those their flagship, Ruth Bigelow's original "Constant Comment" with its recipe of black tea, orange grind and holiday spices (primarily cinnamon). Created by Mrs. Bigelow on the basis of an old colonial recipe over half a century ago, the blend soon became so popular among her friends that their "constant comments" of approval prompted Ruth and husband David Bigelow to found their own tea company. Since then, "Constant Comment" has long become a true classic ... and if you love tea, it is indeed the perfect refreshment; whether or not it's Christmas time. (E.g., it also makes for great iced tea in summer; particularly if you add a bit of lemon.)

If you're making more than a single cup of tea, and unless you like your tea *very* weak, you may want to rethink the company's measuring directions - based on the the "one bag per cup" ratio, you'll likely need two or more bags for an entire pot (depending on size), even when steeping an extra minute or two. That said, though ... wanna come over for a cuppa?

Review of Bigelow's Cozy Camomile

R.C. Bigelow, Inc. was begun in 1945 by Ruth Campbell Bigelow, a tea connoisseur who wanted to offer even more taste opportunities to American tea drinkers. Among the many teas and herbal infusions that are offered by Bigelow is the Cozy Chamomile. Cozy Chamomile has one ingredient - Chamomile flowers. That's it - no fruit, no nuts, just good healthy chamomile.

This is a nice, refreshing tea, with that nice chamomile flavor. It's naturally caffeine-free, and is a healthy drink for any time of the day or night - not or iced. I really like this tea and highly recommend it. (By the way, check out the interesting recipes on Bigelow's website!)

Review of Bigelow's Constant Comment

R.C. Bigelow, Inc. was begun in 1945 by Ruth Campbell Bigelow, a tea connoisseur who wanted to offer even more taste opportunities to American tea drinkers. Among the teas that Ruth blended up was an aromatic and highly flavorful mixture of black tea, orange rind and spices that she named "Constant Comment." Constant Comment is now one of the most popular specialty teas in America, and it is easy to see why!

Overall, I found this to be an excellent hot tea. You are first greeted with a full bouquet, and then receive a wonderful taste sensation. But, that's not all, Constant Comment also makes a great iced tea.

So, if you are looking for an exciting tea, one with a very different and yet truly enthralling flavor, then I recommend Bigelow's Constant Comment. (By the way, check out the interesting recipes on Bigelow's website!)

Review of Bigelow's I Love Lemon

I love this tea. It has great flavor minus sugar and I'm solely a sugar person. I had a sore throat and I added some honey to the tea, it did wonders for my sore throat.

TRY IT! It's great. I can't wait to try the Cranberry Apple and the Cinnamon Apple.

A Bigelow tea fan.
