When I first drank a cup of coffee from a pod machine, I asked if there were other types of coffee available in this form.Nope, just the arabica--which was certainly all right with me.I hoped there would be more choices offered, however.

I searched on Amazon and discovered that one can obtain Kona coffee in "pod" form.What a delight, and I quickly ordered a sampler box.Unbelievably good!There's a reason for this, since the beans are grown on a coffee estate located on the Big Island and the unmistakable taste of "Kona coffee" is in every cup.

It's expensive, but the coffee is excellent, service is swift, and there's nothing like the first sip of coffee from the Big Island to bring a smile to your face!

Very tasty stuff, so much finer than the "MJB flavor" of the Douwe Egbert stuff in the stores (although the Yuban pods in the stores are drinkable). Also good is the larger 100% Kona variety pack version of this from Aloha Coffee Co. which costs about $39 + S&H.Still a bargain compared to Starpucky's at about $0.75/cup.Remember that there is a 2-cup size of this 100% Kona Medium roast pods which can be economical even tho the box is $39.

Man, if you have never drank Kona coffee, and you have a senseo or a similar coffee pod machine, you must try these!Sure, they are as expensive as it gets as far as coffee is concerned, but, if you really want a unique experience, and you really love coffee, you will be surprised at the subtleties of true Kona coffee.You don't have to be a conisseur of coffee to appreciate the flavor, just a lover of the stuff.The light roast much subtler than the dark roast, and much more enjoyable to the less than hardcore coffee nut, which makes these particular pods a great try for folks new to the Kona coffee market.I have no idea why coffees from different regions taste so much different, and I really don't even care!All I know is that coffee from Hawaii, especially Kona coffee, it is the best I have tasted so far, and I even think it is worth the huge amounts of cash it costs to drink it...

If the cost is too much, or you don't love coffee, then leave this stuff alone.Otherwise, you are in for a treat!

This is the best coffee I have ever had!I've tried each flavor now and they are all fantastic.The espresso and dark roast are robust yet smooth, not charred at all.My favorite is the light roast, but all the varieties are flavorful and smooth.WARNING... THIS STUFF IS ADDICTIVE.Also, the pods work great in the senseo machine.

I've tried many different pods available for my Senseo.Every one had no flavor.Aloha Island's coffee pods saved my Senseo machine from the trash.Their pods should be the ones sold w/the machine as Senseo's coffee tastes like instant.If you want the taste you expect w/your one cup machine, use Aloha Island Coffee.I promise you, this is coffee !!!!
