Review of Sharp, Provolone Piccante Cheese (8oz or 1lb)

Sharp, Provolone Piccante Cheese (8oz or 1lb)I grew up in an Italian neighborhood and provolone was always so sharp it felt like it cut your tongue. The flavor was never forgotten, but living in NC all the provolone was so soft and mild the flavor never developed.I have ordered the picante provolone twice.the first order was nearly as good as when I was a kid, the second not quite as good, but better than the option. There will be absolutely more orders.

Product Description
Piccante, the spicier more aged grade of Provolone originated in southern Italy and is a fine all-purpose cheese that is commonly used in antipasto, sandwiches and salads.

Review of Gjetost Original Goat Cheese, (8oz or 1lb)

Gjetost Original Goat Cheese, (8oz or 1lb)It looks like Fels-Naphtha soap, it cuts like aged Velveeta, it tastes like sweetened billy goat milk (yes, yes, I know your objection...), and I love it. I used to find it in markets in the Castro District of San Francisco, when that neighborhood was the true setting for "I Remember Mama", but the Scandinavian delis and the Norwegian Seamen's Mission have been replaced by leather bars, and gjetost (which simply means 'goat cheese' in Norse) has become hard to find outside Minnesota.
You scrape it with the cheese-cutter, as shown on the label of the Ski Queen brand. You serve it in Kavli or some other crispbread. You either love it or hate it, but don't expect to remain friends with a Scandinavian if you speak ill of it.

This on-line shopping stint has opened a world of possibilities for a hermit like me. I could take on a Fed-Ex route in the Sawtooth Mountains, hire a driver, and be my own best customer. It sounds almost like the economic equivalent of perpetual motion...

Product Description
Gjetost, a uniquely Norwegian cheese, has a slightly sour flavor that tastes like sweet caramel with a smooth texture. This cheese can be enjoyed sliced wafer thin with coffee for breakfast and is ideal for a sweet fondue.
