I'm not much of a soda drinker, but I enjoy a good natural fruit soda in the summertime. Izze offers some unusual flavors to suit a variety of tastes, and their Sparkling Pomegranate is one of the best fruit sodas I've tasted. Pomegranate juice is sometimes described as "slightly sweet, slightly tart", but I always found the pure juice too strong. This soda is perfect, though. The sparkling water dilutes the pomegranate flavor just enough to leave its essence without curling your tongue. It's delicious. It tastes more like fresh pomegranate fruit than pomegranate juice, which is too concentrated. And it's lightly carbonated for extra refreshment. If you like a fruit soda that is flavorful but not very sweet, Izze Sparkling Pomegranate fits the bill perfectly. And it contains no artificial ingredients or caffeine. No sugar added. It's sweetened with fruit juice concentrate. 12 fl.oz. glass bottles.

Ingredients: sparkling water, apple juice concentrate, grape juice concentrate, pineapple juice concentrate, lemon juice concentrate, pomegranate juice concentrate, cranberry juice concentrate, carrot juice (color), blueberry juice (color), natural flavor. One bottle contains 120 calories, 15mg sodium, 34g total carbs.

Review of Izze Spakling Blueberry Soda Single Bottle (12 ounce)

I was expecting something a bit more like the blueberry soda found in Maine and that's nothing like this. I'm a fan of sparkling fruit juice, though, so sparkling blueberry juice was interesting.

This Izze Sparkling Pomegranate Soda isn't exactly a soda and isn't a really a juice---it's a healthy alternative drink that's a bit of a combination of the two.

Some pomegranate juices are sour, but this one is tasty and sweeter than most...actually it tastes like real pomegranate pieces (arils) do---perfect! It is a sparkling juice, and sweetened just with real fruit. It contains sparkling water (30%) and a mixture of many different types of fruit juice concentrates for sweeteners---no sugar or sugar substitutes---yay!

This Izze Sparkling Blackberry Soda isn't exactly a soda and isn't a really a juice---it's a healthy alternative drink that's a bit of a combination of the two. It contains a lovely medley of healthy juices without sweeteners except for the actual juice concentrate. For fizz and refreshment it includes 30% sparkling water.

The juices it contains are: white grape juice, apple juice, blackberry juice, and lemon and raspberry juice concentrates. It also contains sparkling water, citric acid, natural flavor, red grape juice concentrate for color, ascorbic acid (vitamin C), niacinimide, and pyridoxine hydrocholoride (vitamin B6). All of this together surprisingly tastes exactly like blackberries!

Izze Blackberry is very sweet but light (not thick and syrupy). The adults in my household really like it and I think children would enjoy it too. There's really nothing not to like about this healthy juice or soda alternative beverage!

Review of Izze Sparkling Blackberry 4 pk (4-12ounce) Bottles

This is the second flavor from Izze I have tried.The first was the Clementine.Tasty and not syrupy I really enjoyed the flavor.I tried the Blackberry.Unlike the Clementine flavor the name of the drink also makes up one of the juices used to make the beverage, blackberry.Like the Clementine a cocktail of juices from concentrate are added like Apple Juice and Lemon Juice to give a balanced flavor.

This is not a drink to hydrate in quantity so much as a tasty pick me up.The drink does not have caffeine or added sugars so I don't feel bad about drinking it.It isn't overly sweet so it adds a bit of energy rather then making me tired.

90 calories for just over 8 ounces is starting to get up there for me.That is enough calories that I at least have to think about when I drink the beverage.A great drink, a good company and thumbs up in my book.The only issue I had is the calories.
