Upon first observation of my beans, there appeared to be some insect damage and partial black ones.300g measured out to have approximately 11 full defects, ranking it "Exchange Grade", two marks below specialty grade coffee. The peaberries were non-uniform in size, but roasted up rather well.A medium-coarse grind in a french press revealed a wonderfully rich and flavorful coffee: pleasantly acidic with crisp fruity and semi-sweet notes.
This is a coffee worth getting!
On a sidenote: The sales staff at RONA are definitely what contributed to this 5 star rating. My first shipment was incorrect.I called the people at RONA to notify them of it.They not only corrected and apologized for their error, but actually went the extra mile to make sure that I was completely satisfied.I was, and I would definitely do business with RONA again.
