Review of Jamieson's 8 oz 70% Robust Dark Chocolate, 2 Bars

Brace yourself. This is perfect chocolate. If you love dark chocolate you must buy this chocolate. It is meant to be savored. The only downside is that you may ruin yourself from ever thinking of other chocolate the same.
Sure, after Jameison's, you will still have other chocolates, even tell yourself that you can learn to live with the others, but in the back of your mind you will want to go back to this. The flavor hits a perfect chord of flavors.Crisp, rich, full, "whole" a words that fit.It is a perfect composition. If you were to taste others right next to this, you would find the others tasting slightly sour, or having slight hint of ammonia, or feeling waxy, or crumbly-- you will find downsides in the others that you never noticed before. It is as if your whole life you were only able to watch Courtney Love perform the role of Maria in "The Sound of Music" -- suddenly to find the Julie Andrews version.

This is the best chocolate I have ever tasted.I have tasted it next to other quality chocolates -- and there are only a couple that come close.Valrhona, a french chocolate was probably the closest to matching the rich "whole" taste of Jameison's chocolate.Scharffen-Berger also has some very good chocolate, but it begins to taste almost astringent right next to Jameison's.
