Well.... my first love with Tandoori was made by my sister for my brother in law, who is from India. The spice she used was from Sharwoods and it was very good.I used to be able to buy Sharwoods at my local store till they dropped it to carry LAXMI. My first attempt was fair at best.... no where what I expected.
Then this weekend I tried it again and wow..... It was really good! what I did different was after I deeply scored my Chicken, I rubbed in Lemon Juice before the Tandoori, then after sitting overnight I squirted on more Lemon Juice...... a few more hours then on to the grill. while cooking, I added more Lemon Juice and wow.... was this ever good!
I really beleive the Lemon brings out the best! A tang that lasts! I highly recomend this spice!
