Review of Savoiardi, Italian Ladyfingers 400gr

These are a great addition to a tea party. Get some biscotti and these ladyfingers and you are set! Your guests will love to dip these in tea or spread jam on them to eat. A perfect addition for a small get together for your next book club or group gathering. Your guests will be amazed at how light and tasty they are. I serve them with orange preserves. You can also make a banana pudding and lay these on the bottom of the pudding bowl to serve as a cheap but fancy dessert! Just layer banana pudding and these ladyfingers and you are set to go!

Product Description
For almost 40 years, Elledi Gran Biscotti has been making Italys favorite regional biscotti and confections. Situated in Padova, in the heart of the Venetos coffee belt, Elledi gains inspiration from nearby Venice and Verona, where Italys most esteemed, historic coffee bars have been bustling for centuries. Elledis confections, typical to several regions of Italy, have deceptively simple ingredients and deliciously supple flavors.

The beloved ladyfingers have distinguished origins dating to 1348, when royal baker of the House of Savoy first baked these delicate slivers of sponge cake using only flour, sugar, eggs and a touch of butter.

Renowned as the foundation of terrific tiramisù, Savoiardi are extremely versatile and can be enjoyed as they are or with Italian gelato.
