Review of Trapani Italian Sea Salt

Trapani Italian Sea SaltIodine is a huge concern - getting enough of it is paramount, and iodized salt is the main source. I have been found medically short of iodine twice. I like sea salt, but the iodized coarse variety is rare as hen's teeth to find. One can find fine grind iodized salt in any health food store. I asked Whole Foods to order it for me TWICE and they couldn't find a supplier. This vendor is excellent and bends over backward. The non-iodized was shipped to me, and they immediately re-sent the correct product at their own expense.

Product Description
Natural or Iodine added:This SoSalt sea salt comes from the ancient salt-works at Trapani where the sea, sun and wind, create a salt that is particularly rich in minerals contained in the sea water (Magnessium, Potassium, iodine,...).Use the coarse salt for corn on the cob or in a salad because it does not melt and tastes sweeter. Use the fine salt for everyday use or for seasoning meats.Iodine added: The SoSalt iodized sea salt adds all the benefits of iodine with a high quality sea salt. Iodine does not alter in any way the taste of the sea salt.Sizes:Coarse 2.2 lb box (grinder also available: click drop down) Fine 1 lb dispenser
