Although the teas in the sampler were adequate, the tiny tea tins arrived damaged. Lids were askew and some tea was spilled inside the enclosing box.

That said, this product is a good gift for a tea novice.

Review of Kusmi Prince Vladimir Tea (4.4oz.)

Sing in me oh muse on this snow day, and let me proclaim the many virtues of this fine tea. The scent and flavor of this tea are as close to my conception of ambrosia as anything else that has yet crossed my palate. It is full without being overbearing, it is seasoned without being overpowering. It's great with anything from English breakfast fare to hardy curry.
Since conception, I have been in love with tea, but "the Prince" was my first fine tea. I have still not recovered from the episode in which my father-in-law-to-be proved to me that bag tea was a crime against humanity. And yet despite amorous flirtations with rare white teas and other wondrous Indian and Chinese estate varieties with unpronounceable names, it's still my favourite.
Never mind the tea purist snobs who rank on it because it's flavored with spice. Would they send back a fine filet because the chef elected to use some pepper or shallots? Ignore the herbal tea-totalers who regard caffeine as sinful. They probably want to outlaw yoga on Sunday too.
Of the five or so Kousmichoff varieties I've had, this one is the clear winner. I've gotten my best results using HOT water steeping for five to six minutes. The stuff is potent enough that you can get, gasp, a reasonably tannin-free second infusion.
My only reservation is this; once you've entered the universe of fine tea, you can never be satisfied drinking Lipton, Salada, Twinings or Tetley again. In guise of gifts, I have managed to get many of my gastronome friends and relations addicted so that I may sup of it when I visit. Isn't it a delicious irony that perhaps the greatest bourgeoisie decadence of the Romanoff dynasty istoday preserved by our friends in socialist France? Viva la Revolution!

Review of Kusmi Kashmir Tchai (4.4oz.)

Outside of Indian restaurants, I've had very poor experiences with chai tea. The packaged stuff just never tastes very good, and tends to be very heavy on the cinnamon, sometimes overwhelming the black tea. (And don't get me started on that powdered junk that some cafes pass off as chai!) Kusmi's Tchai is definately not a one note blend. Instead of cinnamon, the dominate flavors are cardamom and ginger, but you can still taste the black tea. Wonderful with milk and a little sugar, or all by itself.

In a sweet dressing for a salad this absolutely makes it fantastic!I have made the exact same dressing with and without a few tablespoons of blood orange olive oil and when I add the blood orange olive oil I ALWAYS get compliments on the salad and asked, "what did you put in the dressing?"

I almost don't want to tell but reluctantly I do.

Also fantastic as a dipping sauce with a bit of balsamic vinegar!

Review of Elderberry Jelly: 3 jars Mrs Millers Homemade

Mrs. Miller uses cane sugar in the jelly. It makes a world of difference in both taste and consistency. The jellies using corn sweetener all seem gummy and their taste degrades after being open for a few days even if refrigerated. This jelly is the closest to my grandmother's home made I have ever found.

Review of MCC GRILLMATE MONTREAL STEAK

Well..this is the third time I've tried to review this, so lets cross some fingers...and actually 'copy' this before I hit send this time..heh.

I've been using this product for probably a good 8 years now. Slowly improving on my marinade for my steaks as I get older. My steaks have gone from "hey I'm young lets throw all kinds of stuff and also beer on it" to "people roll their eyes back in ecstasy when they eat my steaks"...with some help from this seasoning (as well as some other ingredients).

I've used this on burgers, and even in my spaghetti sometimes. All in all, it's just a great blend of spices to quickly throw in some marinade or just throw on the meat while it's being cooked.

I never thought I would actually review this, but right now I'm in Iraq, and we grill up some steaks once a week. The BX/PX sells frozen steaks and charcoal and we found an old barrel grill out back our work compound. We use sauces from the chow hall for seasoning. But I was fiending for more of a little kick, so I thought..hmmm..maybe Amazon has some McCormicks. Well what do you know...they do. You gotta love Amazon sometimes..lol. So I ordered it and it got here to Iraq in a week. Used it once already (as well as about 6 other people) for steaks AND burgers.

Wow. Wow. Wow.
I don't know how Godiva does it, but it's done. The best chocolate in the world. I felt a little guilty in the begining when I was buying it, but after I ate them, I felt great. So worth the money.
Plus, it comes in a bo, that comes in a box, with a freezer bag in it to keep the chocolate from melting.

Review of Aidells Habanero & Green Chile Sausage, 13 ounces

I have been serving these Aidell's habanero and green chile sausages to guests over several months both, as an appetizer (cut into pieces) or whole (in hot dog buns) - without exception, every guest has raved about the taste and the texture. I get the best results if these sausages are grilled on a BBQ and not pan fried....unfortunately, the double packs that used to be carried by Costco's and Sam's Club are no longer available...would like to see them brought back SOON!!!!

Review of Godiva Cocoa

Got this as a gift and was surprised by how much I liked it. Normally I find cocoas made with milk (instead of water) to be delicious but too rich. I think this flavor is very nice and full without going overboard. I've also had the dark hot chocolate flavor and I like it too, but this one was my fav.

After making my own bubble tea for the first time with the regular 30mins-1hr boba, I decided to try the minute pearls.I was quite skeptical about whether the "minute" pearls could be even close to being thoroughly cooked in anything under less than an hour b/c the regular bubbles took that long and there was still raw, dry starch in the center, which was quite annoying even after following the direction strictly.But with the minute pearls, I pured them into hot boiling water and by the time I turned around they were completely cooked to the center and chewy.I was ecstatic cos it was just like the kind in my local boba tea shop.Now i can save my money and make all kinds of tea at home for myself, my husband, friends, family!

the chocolate arrives fast enough, regretably this is the only thing good about this purchase.

condition is bad.pieces are smallish and many look chipped and rough, probably due to the transportation process.some are wrapped in cheap looking red and green foils.they also taste a bit stale.i don't know how long they have stayed in the warehouse.

taste is disappointing.predominate taste is sugar--with a gritty texture, not the smooth, rich taste expected of a luxury chocolate.

two thumbs down.not worth the money at all.

Review of Izze Sparkling Blackberry 4 pk (4-12ounce) Bottles

This is the second flavor from Izze I have tried.The first was the Clementine.Tasty and not syrupy I really enjoyed the flavor.I tried the Blackberry.Unlike the Clementine flavor the name of the drink also makes up one of the juices used to make the beverage, blackberry.Like the Clementine a cocktail of juices from concentrate are added like Apple Juice and Lemon Juice to give a balanced flavor.

This is not a drink to hydrate in quantity so much as a tasty pick me up.The drink does not have caffeine or added sugars so I don't feel bad about drinking it.It isn't overly sweet so it adds a bit of energy rather then making me tired.

90 calories for just over 8 ounces is starting to get up there for me.That is enough calories that I at least have to think about when I drink the beverage.A great drink, a good company and thumbs up in my book.The only issue I had is the calories.
